Join Megan Barrera, Soprano, Gerardo José Ortega, Tenor, and Robert Fernandez, Baritone in celebration of the union of word and song. Selections of poetry from Yeats, Hugo, Michelangelo and many more set to music by beloved composers like Debussy, Liszt, and Rachmaninov, accompanied by superstar duo Kirk Whipple and Marilyn Morales.
The evening enchanted the audience with prose readings from local authors Neysa King, Micah Marie Johnson, Sten Garcia and Justin Lambert. A special appearance was made by local celebrity Ubaldo Henriquez. A light reception followed with fun poem shoppes featuring offerings from Priscilla Perez and Neysa King, and a poetry workshop hosted by MPC!
